The Connection between Diversity and Cross Cultural Awareness

Diversity is quite relevant to Cross Cultural Awareness and often an expected result of Talent Migration.

In this article we look into how diversity works both for employees and the employer, and the benefits of a diverse working environment.

We reached out to a Senior HR Executive who has undertaken various international assignments across the globe and is a keen advocate of diversity initiatives; she shares her interesting experience and thoughts. Additionally, we have also spoken with a client who shared her perspective taking us through her company’s diversity program and initiatives.

On a more entertaining and yet enlightening tone, we have shared a Modern Fable by R. Roosevelt Thomas, Jr, pioneer in diversity management in the workplace. It is an enjoyable reading illustrating what an elephant and a giraffe teach people about working together. Last but not least, we have drafted an article on the importance of diversity in the workplace based on our extensive reading from various sources.
