Akim has eight years of experience in executive search and recruitment, built across two continents and multiple therapeutic and commercial functions. His career began in Europe, where he developed early expertise in IT and professional services recruitment before moving into life sciences: a sector where his commercial instincts, cross-border reach, and relationship-led approach found their natural home.
He joined SpenglerFox in 2024 from Aspire Life Sciences Search, where he served as Business Manager for the MEA and Europe regions, delivering senior appointments across the Middle East, North Africa, and key European markets including France, Switzerland, Belgium, the Nordics, and the Iberian Peninsula. That dual-continent experience gives him an understanding of how international life sciences businesses think about talent strategy in MEA: the commercial ambitions, the regulatory constraints, the cultural complexity, and the leadership profiles that genuinely thrive in the region.
